If you love the cottagecore aesthetic, then you’re sure to love the princesscore aesthetic as well. Princesscore is similar to cottagecore but with more emphasis on tiaras, ball gowns, and sparkly jewelry. This is another popular aesthetic that has made its way over to TikTok and Pinterest, thanks to the Bridgerton series on Netflix. If you love to dress up and fantasize about attending fancy parties, then this is the aesthetic for you!

Now, this aesthetic is a little more on the fancy side, but there are still ways to modernize it and make it affordable for you to shop for. If you have a puff sleeve dress or a tulle midi skirt layering around in your closet as I do, then pull those out for the perfect princesscore outfit! But if you’re just getting started with this romantic aesthetic, then don’t worry. I’m going to break it down for you too. Here’s how to Build The Best Princesscore Wardrobe With 18 Feminine Pieces!

What Is Princesscore?

Princesscore is a fancy fashion and lifestyle aesthetic inspired by royalty throughout different periods, such as the Victorian and Regency eras. It takes inspiration from popular TV shows, books, and movies about princesses like Bridgerton. This aesthetic focuses on pretty things like puff sleeves and pearls, and encourages you to dress up in your best dress. Think lots of pretty dresses, sparkly tiaras, kitten heels, and lace gloves.

Which Pieces Do I Need To Own, And Where Can I Buy Them?

Princesscore will most likely cost you because it’s a fancy aesthetic that most people don’t already own the pieces to. Before completely diving into this style, it’s best to start with the basics and then pick up statement pieces as you go along. If you’re into vintage looks, check out your local thrift stores, such as GoodWill. But if you don’t have access to thrift stores, you can try online places such as Amazon, Sugar Thrillz, Selkie, ThredUp, Depop, LuLus, and Etsy, to name a few.

Princesscore Aesthetic Essentials

1. Babydoll Dresses

Start your princesscore wardrobe off with an elegant babydoll dress. The puff sleeves and flowy fabric give off princess vibes and look perfect when styled with pretty accessories, such as a tiara or kitten heels. Selkie and Sugar Thrillz are perfect for this dress style!

2. Maxi Dress/Gown

As a princess, you’ll want some form of a longer dress or a gown to wear to all of the parties you’ll be invited to.  I recommend something made with chiffon, mesh, or tulle because those look the most like princess dresses, and they photograph well.

3. Corsets

Every vintage princess needs a corset in her life. It’s a fun piece to layer over a puff sleeve top or a dress to make a statement. A corset can instantly dress up any look and make you feel as royal as you’ll look. They’re not as uncomfortable as they look!

4. Puff Sleeve Tops

Puff sleeve tops are a staple piece to have in any princesscore wardrobe. They’re elegant and feminine, and you can style them with almost any skirt or pants. It’s the perfect top to wear during spring and summer weather as it will keep you cool and looking fashionable at the same time!

5. Long Skirts

Not into wearing dresses or need a more casual option? Switch it up with a midi or maxi skirt. Longer skirts are comfortable and flowy to wear during hotter months and will keep you looking like a princess. Add a puff sleeve top and your favorite pair of heels, and you have an easy, feminine look!

6.Feminine Nightgown

Feminine, pretty sleepwear is the best form of self-care. Why not look and feel your best 24/7? Nightgowns are as pretty as they are comfortable. Feel cool, comfortable, and relaxed at night in a pretty princess nightgown of your choosing.

7. Pretty Slippers

Pretty slippers complete any princesscore bedtime look. You’ll want to pick up a pair of feminine slippers to match with your girly nightgown as you pamper yourself at night. From feathers to satin, the princesscore slipper options are endless!

8. Elegant Robe

To complete your nighttime princesscore look, you’ll need an elegant robe. Find a robe with feathers, sequins, and satin, or opt for something simple. It’s easy to throw on over your nightgown in the morning or night, and it will keep you cozy and stylish at the same time.

9. Kitten Heels

Add a pair of kitten heels to your daily princesscore looks to dress them up. Kitten heels are comfortable to walk in and elegant for all fancy outfits. Pick out a neutral match that goes with everything, or select a colorful pair to make a fun statement with your outfit!

10. Frilly Socks

Style a pair of frilly socks with your favorite kitten heels for the ultimate feminine princesscore look. These socks are as cute as they are comfortable, and the lace detail will make you feel put together and stylish no matter what you wear with them.

11. Lace Gloves

Lace gloves are the ultimate touch to a classy, feminine princesscore outfit. If you’re feeling a little nostalgic, then add a pair of lace gloves to your outfit for a vintage twist. Whether you wear a ball gown or a matching skirt and top set, lace gloves go well with everything!

12. Vintage Bags

The best places to find these are at thrift stores or on secondhand websites, but if you don’t have access to any of these, then opt for something elegant like the examples I included down below! You’ll want to add a mini clutch or handbag complete with pearls or sequins to your wardrobe to wear with your princessscore dresses.

13. Pearl Jewelry

You’ll want to wear dainty pearl jewelry pieces with your princesscore clothing. Pearls are easy to thrift  or borrow from a family member. A simple strand of pearls with pearl earrings will make you look like an effortless vintage princess.

14. Tiara

If you want to dress like a princess to the full effect, then you have to wear a tiara! Tiaras come in a range of sizes and metal tones, so you can dress as casual or as extra as you please. For an evening look or a princess photoshoot day, add a tiara to be as glamorous as possible.

15. Shawl

A shawl is a dainty clothing piece to cover your shoulders with. It’s great for evening or fall and wintertime events when you need a little more coverage on your arms to avoid feeling cold. Add a little shawl to your princesscore outfit to protect your shoulders and look fashionable at the same time.

16. Hair Accessories

If you’re not in the mood to wear a crown with your princesscore outfits sometimes, then you can always choose a feminine hair accessory. Pearl hair clips, gemstone headbands, and pink padded headbands are all great alternatives to the crown for more casual looks in the princesscore style.

17. Hand Fan

This is a fun accessory to use during fancy events if you want to be a little dramatic. It’s also a practical piece to own during spring and summer when the weather is warm! Fans come in simple styles and more extravagant designs depending on what you’re looking for. I love some with feathers!

18. Hand Mirror

Last but not least, pick up a vintage hand mirror so you can apply your makeup in style. This accessory is more for decoration than actual use, but it can be fun for photo ops and applying your makeup on-the-go. You can display it in your home if all else fails!

Have fun building your princesscore wardrobe! I hope this post was helpful 🙂
