2 Easy Ways to Take an adidas Outfit From Day to Night

If 2020 has taught me anything, it’s about the importance of being comfortable and learning how to adapt. We’ve all had to take on additional roles at work or in the home that may not have existed before the pandemic, and more tasks need to be done than hours in the day to complete them. Thanks to my busy schedule, my love for adidas athleisure has flourished this year. I no longer have the time or the energy to waste on picking out an unpractical outfit that I can’t wear all day. Instead, my taste has gravitated toward trendy loungewear sets that I can easily take from day to night, depending on my hectic schedule.

If you’ve followed me for a while, then you know how much I love pink and glamorous outfits. Unfortunately for me, there’s nowhere to wear those types of outfits this year, but thanks to adidas, I don’t have to sacrifice my style or my comfort to look trendy. adidas recently released its Glam On Collection, and it’s everything I could hope for in an athleisure collection and more. The thing I love about the Glam On athleisure collection is that you won’t look like you just rolled out of bed and threw your sweatpants on. You could be exercising, working from home, or heading to a socially distant small gathering, and these outfits are perfect for all of these occasions.

The best way to make your life a little easier this year is to choose a transitional outfit that will work for all of your obligations. Urban Day Time Look

I’m currently working from home, and athleisure has become my best friend this year. The adidas Glam On Collection doesn’t look like my previous loungewear, however. It’s sleek and glamorous but practical at the same time. As the temperatures start to drop, I know I’m going to want to bundle up, so I chose a faux fur pom pom beanie to keep my head warm, a pair of pink cuffed pants, a long-sleeve pink track top, and a pair of pink Superstar shoes. If you love adidas‘ classic black and white Superstar shoes, then you have to check out this pair of chic sneakers for a fun look.

Besides work, I find myself reaching for this outfit when I’m running errands, walking my dog, running, and relaxing at home. It’s casual and comfortable for my day-to-day activities, but I know that I look stylish thanks to the pink color of the set and the shiny silver details on my sneakers. If you’re not a pink person, don’t worry, there’s plenty of other outfit options in the collection, such as black and gray too.

Street Style Night Time Look

In 2020, athleisure is a movement not restricted to the day time or the gym. I love to wear my adidas Glam On set during my night time activities too, and the switch from day to night is easy with this look. If you’re interested in wearing your outfit at night, start with accessories. This collection is already glamorous, so it doesn’t require much change from your day time outfit.

I added an edgy black belt with silver details that match my Superstar shoes and dress up the outfit. It’s all about the bag you use to dress up your athleisure. I prefer to use a black shoulder bag to contrast from the blush pink and incorporate a fall trend into the outfit. I’ve also added minimal jewelry to highlight the clothing pieces I have on, such as chunky silver hoop earrings and a simple silver necklace. Add a bold lip to finish off the look, and you’re ready to go!

I’ve enjoyed wearing this outfit to small functions such as outdoor dinners with a friend or small family birthday events that require a night time outfit. I’m excited to wear this look in the coming months on shopping trips, local travel, and restaurants as more places begin to open up.
