The holidays are quickly approaching, and I’m preparing the outfits I want to wear during the festivities and the best deals for you to shop. Dressing up for the holidays is one of the most fun parts about celebrating and it doesn’t take any convincing to get me to wear a festive look. Personally, fall is my favorite season. This is the best time of the year. The weather finally gets cool enough to wear sweaters, jeans, and booties. I can spend time outside apple or pumpkin picking, and of course, the fall holidays arrive.
November brings two of my favorite holidays: Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to spend appreciating your loved ones and enjoy yummy food and then there are the Black Friday shopping deals to look forward to the following day.
It’s smart to prepare my outfits and the pieces I want to shop ahead of time so I can focus on shopping for my loved ones and enjoy the holidays. Luckily, adidas makes this busy time of year easy by offering the cutest looks at affordable prices. Ever since I started grad school in New York City last year, I’ve developed a fond appreciation for street style looks and adidas carries a wide variety of versatile street style pieces to choose from that I’ve been loving this season.
Street Style Sneakers
This Thanksgiving, I’m going for a relaxed, street style look. I want to look trendy and stylish without sacrificing my comfort as I had in the past during the holidays. Thanksgiving is always held at my house, so there’s no need to go crazy with heels or a fancy dress. Instead, I’m opting for my favorite adidas Superstar Shoes, a pair of jeans and a rusty-orange colored sweater. My look here is both festive and comfortable, so I don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. Jeans and sweaters are easy to find at any store, and the colors can be exchanged for other shades. The adidas Superstar Shoes are a must-have, though!
After Thanksgiving dinner and dessert, my cousins and I usually go out Black Friday shopping together at our local mall. Surprisingly, my mall starts Black Friday shopping deals very early around 5 or 6 p.m. and we usually make our way over there around then. My street style outfit will also be perfect for walking around stores for hours and trying on several new clothing pieces. We like to visit multiple stores, so I can’t imagine wearing anything besides for my trusty adidas Superstar Shoes.
If you’re planning on shopping in a major city like New York City, I definitely recommend wearing something more comfortable to go Black Friday shopping in like street style sneakers. Walking around for hours will make your feet hurt if you wear anything else.
Casual Tees
Another outfit I suggest wearing is a black adidas ID Glam Tee, leather leggings and a pair of white chunky sneakers. I’ve also styled this look with chunky gold hoops and a pair of black retro sunglasses. This is another easy look that you can dress up with a denim or a leather jacket. You can switch up the shoes or the leggings with dressier pants/skirts and shoes if you’d like the outfit to be fancier while still maintaining that street style edge. It’s versatile and perfect for a casual Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping right after. Edgy looks are very street style and wearing black is the ultimate street style vibe.
Sporty Edge
The third look is a variation of the second look but with a white adidas Don’t Rest Badge Of Sport Bra. Now, I’m not suggesting you wear a sports bra for Thanksgiving dinner or Black Friday shopping, but you can layer it. I like to shop in comfortable clothes. I would easily wear a t-shirt, sports bra and leggings to go to the mall after eating a full meal. It will make trying on clothing in stores much easier and faster!
