Get Into The Holiday Spirit With Basic Invite Online Christmas Cards

October 12, 2019

When I was younger, my family used to send out a Christmas card to all of our friends and family members each year. My mom would force my brother and me to wear matching outfits and pose in front of our Christmas tree, or worse, get photos professionally taken in a studio filled with ornaments and snowmen. Now that I’m older, cards with my photo plastered all over it are out of the question.

Instead, I’ve adopted a much easier practice of sending cute Christmas greeting cards. When Basic Invite reached out to me, I was so excited because their cards are exactly the type of creativity I’m looking for. I love being able to wish my friends and family members a Merry Christmas and greeting cards are the perfect, modern way to do it. Life gets crazy as you get older and I’m not always able to see my loved ones all the time so I love having the option to send them a little note to let them know I’m thinking of them.

Being a creator started when I was young. Back then, I had a box of Mickey Mouse Christmas Cards I received at a Girl’s Scout meeting during elementary school and I remember how excited I was to break that box out every holiday season and write my Christmas cards to my family members. Flash forward to 2019, and the Christmas Card magic still exists for me. Now, there are more options than ever before. I love how Basic Invite offers over 500 different options to their customers for a wide variety of choices.

Card Options

As we’re all aware, we live in the digital era. As a writer, I most definitely still send physical Christmas cards because I love the feel of pen and paper. However, I also love having the option of digital cards too. Basic Invite offers users the opportunity to send online Christmas cards to their loved ones who prefer to receive them electronically versus in the mail. Sometimes keeping track of everything on your phone or computer is so much easier than a paper copy so I can see how this is convenient for people. Basic Invite also offers corporate holiday cards This is a great idea if you’re working for a business and want to send out a personal thank you or season’s greetings to your employees or clients. None of the places I’ve worked have done this, but I think it was a missed opportunity to get closer with the staff. And we can’t forget the photo holiday cards. For all the families out there who like to include a little photo to keep their friends up to date, this one is for you. I know my mom would be a huge fan of this option because some of her friends haven’t seen me or my brother in a while and they would love to see what we look like now.

Unlimited Color Options

When I’m selecting a card to send to someone, I like options. Christmas is the perfect time to get really creative. I love using several different colors and prints in my cards to make them as festive as possible. Basic Invite offers over 180 different color options that you can customize and preview right on their website! I wish I had this option years back when I used to send my cards out because they would’ve looked so much more festive and felt more personal.

Custom Samples

One of my favorite features about Basic Invite is their option to receive custom samples. You can receive a physical copy of your card before ordering it. I love this feature and think it’s a great, honest option to offer. Too often the products I receive in the mail from other brands differ from their pictures or descriptions online. Even creators mess up sometimes so this allows me to view my work before sending it to other people.

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes

Receiving a colored envelope is much more fun than a plain white one. During the Christmas season, I like to send red, green or colorful cards to my family members and friends. This is the time of year to be extra and have fun creating something magical. I love that Basic Invite offers over 40 different options so there’s something for everyone.

Address Capturing Service

Basic Invite has an address capturing service you can share a link to on any of your social media platforms to save your friends and family members addresses and then use them later on. This is so much easier than having to look up where everyone lives or calling/texting them to send their address. Addressing cards is time-consuming but this service makes everything simple.

Foil

If you want to add an extra touch to your cards, you can select the foil option. There are holiday options in gold, rose gold and silver for a little sparkle to any card. My cards have always included a little shimmer so I love the idea of a foil card. Gone are the days of boring cards when options like this exist!

I hope this post got you all in the holiday spirit as much as it did for me. I also have a little treat for you. Right now Basic Invite is offering 30% off with code holi30. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to pick up some festive cards in preparation for Christmas 🙂
