A few days have passed since Halloween, but I still can’t believe it’s already November. We are officially in the second to last month of 2018. Where did the year go? I constantly find myself asking this question as the months dwindle down and inch closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I know it’s still the beginning of the month, but it’s never too early to start preparing for Black Friday to get the best deals! Black Friday is one of those holidays you either love or hate. Personally, I find the day to be a lot of fun. Instead of waking up at five to go shopping, my cousin and I usually head to our local mall around 11 or 12 as soon as our Thanksgiving company leaves. During the past few years, my mall has started opening earlier to appeal to a wider crowd, so we’ll usually stop there before retreating to online shopping. Here are a few of the items I anticipate purchasing this year or have on my list. Enjoy!
J.Crew Factory City Coat
I’ve seen this coat everywhere this season. I spot it at least three times a day in New York City and it’s a reoccuring item on my wishlist for the past two years I never got around to purchasing. The coat comes in a variety of colors, but my favorite is the Heather Mushroom for $178.

J.Crew Factory Vail Parka
I also have my eye on this parka. I’m in search of new coats for winter, and I’ve had my eye on this one for a couple of years now too. I’m aiming towards the navy one but I also love the red one from previous years. It costs $198 but J.Crew Factory usually has good Black Friday sales.

Kiel James Patrick American Yacht Club Sweater
I absolutely love KJP anything. I recently purchased one of their flannel dresses, and it is the best thing I currently own so I know I need to get this sweater soon! I’m hoping they’ll do a Black Friday sale like last year so I’m going to hold out until then. This sweater will be perfect to style basically all year so I definitely think it’s worth the price. The sweater costs $128.

Hunter Boots
Black Friday is a great time to stock on any expensive items, but this year I could really use a new pair of Hunter Boots. I’d like a pair in navy to complement my wardrobe since I wear more navy than black now so I don’t find myself wearing the black pair as much.
Abercrombie Sherpa Half-Zip
I am obsessed with sherpas in case that wasn’t obvious from all my Instagram posts. I own at least five by one but what’s one more? I love these checkered sherpas from Abercrombie. I own a similar red and black checkered one but I also really like the grey one. They cost $78 and are currently on sale for anyone interested!

Eastland Shoe Penny Loafers
I’ve seen these all over Instagram for years now and I’m yet to own a pair! They are such a classic pair of shoes and are perfect for fall and winter. Friends of mine who own them rave about how comfortable and high-quality they are for $85.

Sherpa Denim Jacket
This is another item that has been very popular on Instagram this year. I’ve always loved the classic look of a denim jacket, but the sherpa version is perfect right in time for winter because it’s extra warm. This one from Shein is currently $25 but they run good sales so I’m going to wait until Black Friday.

Faux Fur Vest
I’ve seen a lot of photos on Instagram and Pinterest of outfits with fur vests and I’d love to try styling one. I found one on Shein for $29, but I’m sure it will be cheaper during Black Friday!

Thigh-High Boots
I purchased my first pair of these boots last year and loved them. Sadly, by the end of the season, I had ripped them, so I’m in search of a new pair now and this $40 pair from Forever 21 looks perfect! Forever 21 ran major sales during Black Friday last year so I’m going to wait until then.

Goodnight Macaroon Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater
I know I’ve repeated this at least 100 times during this post, but I’ve wanted this item for a year or two after finding it all over Instagram! I love the color it comes in and it looks very comfortable and warm. I’m really into neutrals now, and I think this would be a fun sweater to own.
