I hope everyone is having the best fall. Personally, I’ve always been a summer girl, but this year, I’m really getting into the fall season. It’s hard not to while living in beautiful New England! The leaves are finally are starting to change, and Connecticut experienced its first major drop in temperature this past week (It’s in the low 60s/high 50s!). Now that it’s cold enough to wear sweaters and boots everyday, it’s time for a fall look book!
1. Cable Knit Sweater and Gingham Vest
Okay, this one is a given, but I’ve been on the search for the perfect cable knit sweaters for years now and I finally found one. J.Crew Factory never fails me! (Hint: choose the men’s sweater for a looser fit). I’ve owned this gingham vest for two years now and always go back to it!
2. Plaid Cape
Capes are on-trend this season because I see them literally every store I walk into! I found this adorable cape for only $29 from Red Dress Boutique and I’m obsessed with it! I’ve already worn it several times even though I planned on saving it for Christmas.
3. Rust-Colored Sweaters
Rust is the color for fall this year! Rust showed up again and again during New York Fashion Week shows this past September. I also found many, many items in this color in stores as I began my fall shopping last month. This sweater is from Forever 21 but I linked a similar one!
