Bonjour! This blogpost is dedicated to my travels to Paris, France from June 11th-June 15th. I’m beyond blessed to have had the chance to visit such a cultural, magnificent city in my lifetime. I have organized this post to be somewhat of a timeline of my trip, and I hope you all enjoy it. As always, thanks for reading.
June 11th, 2017// This was my first official day in Paris. I took the Eurostar from London into Paris, and from there I headed to my hotel on the Champs-Élysées. This photo was taken while exploring the streets with my friends.
June 11th, 2017// This was a very productive day, after doing a little exploring, I climbed to the top of the Arc De Triomphe. The arc is a monument visible from the Champs-Élysées, and stands in honor of those who valiantly defended France.
June 12th, 2017// I visited the Louvre Museum on June 12th. I enjoyed this museum most of all due to its array of artwork and its home to the original Mona Lisa painting. Visiting this museum is a must because the sun illuminates the entire building.
June 12th, 2017// I also took a quick visit to the Notre-Dame de Paris, one of the most pristine cathedrals in the world. I was instantly mesmerized by the beauty of this cathedral and I took as many photos of it as possible.
June 12th, 2017// Another photo from inside of the Notre-Dame de Paris. This window represents the beauty of the cathedral rather well.
June 12th, 2017// On my way to the Notre-Dame de Paris, I made a stop to see the Love Lock Bridge. This bridge is home to thousands of locks in a variety of different shapes and sizes. I have never seen anything quite like it before.
June 13th, 2017// Visiting the Palace of Versailles was a trip highlight for me since it was the home to the political powers in France. I have always had a love for architecture, especially anything to do with palaces. My favorite room was the hall of mirrors, this hall was home to the most divine chandeliers.
June 13th, 2017// One of the rooms inside of the Palace of Versailles.
June 14th, 2017// Since this was my second to last day in Paris, I took a scenic tour of the city. Pictured above is the Seine River with the Eiffel Tower in the background. By riding on a hop-on, hop-off bus, I was able to see the majority of the city in the mere span of a few hours.
June 14th, 2017// Taking a relaxing stroll through the park while sitting near the Eiffel tower definitely had its perks. The weather reached up to 88 degrees some days, and taking some time just to enjoy the nice views and weather was perfect.
June 14th, 2017// I took a final stroll to see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night one last time. The view was breathtaking, especially from the top of the tower. This is probably one of my favorite photos from my trip to Paris because it captures the Eiffel Tower’s dazzling beauty.
June 15th, 2017// My final day in Paris, there’s not much to describe since I left early for the airport. Despite this, here is a neat photo of the Eiffel Tower! For those of you who took the time to read this post, you are always appreciated.
Au revoir,
Nicolette
