Thanks for stopping by! My name is Nicolette, and I created this blog to express my love for fashion. The goal of my blog is to inspire women of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds to wear whatever makes them happy and feel comfortable. I hope to encourage you to try out different styles and trends and experiment with the art of fashion. I will share my style with you as well as styling tips and my latest finds, so you’re never in the dark about what’s going on in the fashion industry.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved clothing and fashion. I grew up playing Barbie dolls and dress up with my cousin, and I’ve never felt as much joy as when I style an outfit. During my high school years, the only thing that kept me going was the new Vera Bradley backpack or the leopard print Sperrys I bought to accessorize my school uniform.

I could spend hours at the mall or browsing the luxury stores on 5th Avenue in Manhattan to consume all the different prints, patterns, textures, and embroidery on the beautiful clothing I come across.

Why I’m Starting a Blog

When my Lilly Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines obsession blossomed during my freshman year of college, I began to take notice of fashion bloggers. I followed these women closely and enjoyed viewing their latest fashion finds or how they styled their printed popovers and whale shorts.

I discovered a whole world online, and I knew I had to become a part of it as it could be something I’m passionate about. It combines my love for fashion, photography, styling, and writing, so here I am.

Fashion is a form of self-expression, and there’s far more to it than materialism. Fashion is history, gender, science, art, businesses, and more all wrapped up into one industry. I don’t currently major in fashion, but I know my career in media will lead me there. My blog will serve as my saving grace and connection to fashionistas worldwide.
